When to choose ceramic printing

Colours and colour count
Specialist spot-colour palettes. Anda describes up to 8 spot colours for its process; midocean uses a dedicated ceramic palette. Available colours and metallic options depend on the selected item.
The limit applies to a specific decoration position, not necessarily to every position on the item. If brand colour is critical, provide your colour references when requesting a quotation.
How to prepare your artwork
Prefer vector artwork with separate colours. Leave clear space around fine lettering and use the product's print template.
- Prepare the design at its intended physical size and use the selected product's template where available.
- For logos, keep an editable vector original; outline fonts or supply the required font information.
- For photographs, use the original high-resolution image. Enlarging a small image does not restore detail.
- Confirm accepted upload formats and any minimum line thickness or text size for your chosen product.
What to check before ordering
Sublimation and ceramic decoration are different processes. Confirm washing instructions for the exact decorated item.
The print area, material, item colour and finish can affect the appearance. Follow the care instructions supplied for the decorated product.
