When to choose debossing
Simple logos on compatible notebook covers, leather, PU and cardboard items. Check the available methods on the product before preparing your design.
Colours and colour count
Blind debossing uses no ink: the effect comes from depth, shadow and the base material. Any foil finish is a separately confirmed option, not an arbitrary Pantone colour.
The limit applies to a specific decoration position, not necessarily to every position on the item. If brand colour is critical, provide your colour references when requesting a quotation.
How to prepare your artwork
Use a single-colour vector silhouette with outlined fonts. Leave enough space between elements for a clear impression.
- Prepare the design at its intended physical size and use the selected product's template where available.
- For logos, keep an editable vector original; outline fonts or supply the required font information.
- For photographs, use the original high-resolution image. Enlarging a small image does not restore detail.
- Confirm accepted upload formats and any minimum line thickness or text size for your chosen product.
What to check before ordering
If a coloured logo is essential, compare an available print method rather than expecting debossing to reproduce the original colours.
The print area, material, item colour and finish can affect the appearance. Follow the care instructions supplied for the decorated product.
