When to choose laser engraving
Compatible metal, wood and coated products where a subtle mark is preferred. Check the available methods on the product before preparing your design.
Colours and colour count
No printing ink and no selectable Pantone colour. The material and coating determine the visible shade; natural wood may vary between items.
The limit applies to a specific decoration position, not necessarily to every position on the item. If brand colour is critical, provide your colour references when requesting a quotation.
How to prepare your artwork
Use a clean, single-colour vector design. Black artwork identifies the areas to engrave, not the final engraving colour.
- Prepare the design at its intended physical size and use the selected product's template where available.
- For logos, keep an editable vector original; outline fonts or supply the required font information.
- For photographs, use the original high-resolution image. Enlarging a small image does not restore detail.
- Confirm accepted upload formats and any minimum line thickness or text size for your chosen product.
What to check before ordering
Ask about the expected contrast on the exact item, particularly when the logo needs to be highly visible.
The print area, material, item colour and finish can affect the appearance. Follow the care instructions supplied for the decorated product.
