Terms of service
Effective date: 23 September 2026
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. Seller information
The PrintSide online store is operated by Khodus Digital OÜ.
In these Terms of Sale, Khodus Digital OÜ is referred to as “PrintSide”, “we”, “us” or the “Seller”. These Terms apply to orders placed through the PrintSide online store.
2. Placing and confirming an order
The customer selects the products, specifications, quantity, delivery method and any other available options and completes the order through Shopify’s standard checkout process.
Before submitting an order, the customer must check the selected products and specifications, quantities and sizes, uploaded files, billing and delivery details, delivery address, VAT number and final price.
After an order is submitted, an automated order acknowledgement is sent by email. This confirms that the order has been received by our system but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted for production.
An order is accepted after PrintSide has reviewed it and confirmed payment or another agreed payment method. If a product is unavailable, contains an obvious pricing error, or cannot be produced for technical or legal reasons, PrintSide may reject the order. Any payment received for the rejected part of the order will be refunded.
3. Prices and VAT
PrintSide serves both business customers (B2B) and private customers (B2C). Prices on product pages, in the customizer and in the cart are stated excluding VAT. Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout. Before payment is confirmed, the customer is shown the final amount, including the applicable VAT rate and amount, delivery charges and other agreed fees. If the order qualifies for reverse charge under the applicable tax rules, PrintSide does not charge VAT.
Orders delivered within Estonia are subject to the VAT required by Estonian law.
Sales to private customers and customers without a valid VAT number in other European Union countries are subject to VAT in accordance with the applicable EU distance-selling rules.
A supply to a business customer registered for VAT in another EU Member State may qualify for the 0% VAT rate if a valid VAT number is provided and verified, the goods are dispatched from Estonia to another EU Member State, and all other legal conditions for an intra-Community supply are met.
If the VAT number is invalid, does not correspond to the customer, or the requirements for the 0% rate are not fulfilled, PrintSide may charge the applicable VAT or request the outstanding tax amount before production begins.
4. Custom-made products
PrintSide produces customised products using printing, engraving, embroidery or another decoration method based on files and instructions supplied by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all supplied text, names, dates, contact details, dimensions, positioning, spelling, punctuation, colour references, images, logos, product variants and quantities.
PrintSide may notify the customer of an obvious error or insufficient file quality, but is not required to perform a complete editorial, technical or legal review of the supplied materials.
5. Rights to customer-supplied materials
By uploading or otherwise supplying a logo, image, text, trademark or other material, the customer confirms that they have the right to use it and that its use does not infringe any copyright, trademark, image, privacy or other third-party rights and is not unlawful or prohibited.
The customer grants PrintSide a limited right to use the supplied materials solely to prepare the proof, manufacture the products, perform quality control and fulfil the relevant order. PrintSide may refuse to produce content that may violate the law or third-party rights.
6. Print proof and approval
The visual created in the customizer is a preliminary illustration, not the final production proof. After reviewing the order, PrintSide prepares the final production proof with the manufacturer and sends it to the customer for approval. Production starts only after the customer approves that final proof and PrintSide confirms the approved version to the manufacturer.
Before decoration begins, PrintSide sends the customer an electronic artwork proof or print proof for review and approval, unless another procedure has been agreed in writing.
The customer must carefully check the wording, spelling, dimensions, placement, image orientation, selected product, approximate colour appearance and all other visible details.
Production begins after the customer approves the print proof. By approving it, the customer confirms that all visible elements are correct. PrintSide is not responsible for errors already present in the approved proof, including incorrect text, data or placement supplied or approved by the customer.
PrintSide remains responsible if the finished products differ from the approved proof because of an error made by PrintSide.
Changes requested after approval may affect the price and production time. Once production has started, changes may no longer be possible.
7. Colours and production tolerances
Product images and colours shown online are illustrative. Colour appearance varies between monitors, mobile devices, display settings and lighting conditions. The colour of a physical product or decoration may therefore differ from its on-screen appearance.
Small variations may also occur between material batches and decoration methods. Unless a specific colour system, such as a Pantone reference, has been agreed in writing, a colour variation of up to 10% from the approved on-screen representation is permitted where such variation can be objectively measured for the relevant production method.
A permitted technical variation is not in itself considered a defect. This does not apply where the colour materially differs from the agreed result because of a production error by PrintSide.
8. Order cancellation
The customer may submit a cancellation request by email to shop@printside.eu.
Cancellation and the amount, if any, that can be refunded are assessed individually, taking into account the current stage of the order and costs already incurred.
Even if the print proof has not yet been approved, PrintSide may already have incurred costs for order processing, artwork preparation, technical file checks, purchasing or reserving products and materials, engaging contractors or other preparatory work. A cancellation request therefore does not guarantee a full refund.
PrintSide will inform the customer whether cancellation is possible and what amount can be refunded after completed work and incurred costs have been taken into account.
After the print proof has been approved and production has started, cancellation of a customised order is generally not possible, except where required by applicable law or separately agreed by PrintSide in writing.
9. Right of withdrawal
The statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal generally does not apply to products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised with a logo, text, image or other custom decoration.
If a product is not personalised and no other legal exception applies, a consumer retains the right of withdrawal provided by applicable law. Detailed procedures will be stated in the Returns and Refunds Policy.
The absence of a right of withdrawal for a personalised product does not affect the customer’s rights where the product is defective or does not conform to the order.
10. Inspection and complaints
The customer must inspect the order after delivery. Visible transport damage, decoration errors, incorrect quantities or deviations from the approved proof should be reported within 14 days after delivery.
A complaint should include the order number, a description of the issue, photographs of the products and packaging, the number of affected items and any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.
The 14-day notification period is intended to allow visible damage and production issues to be investigated promptly. It does not restrict any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
Complaints concerning hidden defects or non-conformity are handled in accordance with the procedures and time limits established by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. PrintSide responds to written complaints within the period required by law.
11. Manufacturing defects
PrintSide is responsible for manufacturing defects, defective decoration, production that does not conform to the approved print proof, an incorrect product or quantity supplied through PrintSide’s fault, and other non-conformities for which PrintSide is responsible under applicable law.
After assessing a valid claim, PrintSide will provide an appropriate remedy required by law, which may include correction, reproduction, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
A customer should not continue using an obviously defective product if doing so could make the defect worse.
12. Customer errors
PrintSide is not responsible for issues directly caused by an error in the customer’s file, insufficient image resolution, incorrect customer-supplied text or data, placement approved in the print proof, lack of rights to supplied materials, misuse of the product, normal wear or improper care.
PrintSide remains responsible where the completed product does not conform to the approved proof or where the agreed decoration was incorrectly applied by PrintSide.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PrintSide is not liable for indirect business losses, loss of profit or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms and contracts concluded with PrintSide are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through direct negotiation. A written complaint may be sent to shop@printside.eu.
If a consumer and PrintSide cannot reach an agreement, the consumer may apply to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) or a competent court.
The choice of Estonian law does not deprive a consumer of any mandatory protection provided by the law of the consumer’s country of habitual residence where such protection applies under European Union law.
Disputes with business customers are subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Estonia unless otherwise agreed in writing.
